The SmartMan OpenCall project at Eindhoven Engine started in 2020 and has a duration of three years. This summer, the project ends at Eindhoven Engine, but is working on a follow-up at Fontys Engineering. |

New project videos: Carbyon 2.0 |
The atmospheric CO2 levels are excessively elevated, so urgent action is needed to lower them. Eindhoven Engine Project Carbyon is developing machines that are capable of capturing carbon from the surrounding air and filtering it out.

Thematic session: Warm Technology |
‘Warm technology’ emphasizes the need to design and implement technology with human needs, human well-being and social interaction in mind. It is about creating technologies that are empathetic, inclusive, ethical, and that take into account the diversity of individuals and communities.
